The race is a 24-hour extreme adventure challenge from the heart of Sta. Cruz to the summit of Mount Apo via The Boulder Face through disciplines of mountain biking, trekking/bouldering, road running and water tubing.

Bearing the advocacy “Save & Protect Mt. Apo” the event is a highlight of the annual “Pista sa Kinaiyahan” or Feast of Mother Nature of Sta. Cruz, Davao Del Sur. With the participation of the foreign teams and the interest shown by other countries during the preparation of the race the activity has successfully positioned Davao Region as one of the top eco-adventure tourism destinations in this part of Asia. Thus, involvement of more foreign teams is expected by the organizers in next year’s challenge.
