The fourth leg of the Columbia Trail Masters opens its registration.
Columbia Sportswear, a brand best known for its innovative outdoor gear and equipments, announces the fourth instalment of the much awaited, Trail Masters series. The series which begun last 2009 in Nuvali, Laguna, which travelled to Cebu and Bukidnon, is now opening its registration in Davao city.
The fourth leg of the Columbia Trail Masters is brought to Paradise Island Beach Resort, Samal Island Davao, this coming November 17, 2012.
This leg includes two disciplines, trail running and off-road biking. There are also mud courses along the race to add some fun twist to the already challenging race. The race will consists of two categories, the adventure race – which will include the off road biking and trail running, for the more experience athletes and the 10K trail run category, for the weekend warriors.
Registration for the Columbia Trail Masters is PHP 1500 for the adventure race and PHP 350 for the trail run category, for both men and women. Interested participants can register at Columbia Abreeza Davao, Columbia Limketkai Cagayan De Oro, and Columbia SM Cebu.
The way to Davao has become both a weekend getaway for the adventuresome, and Columbia Sportswear longs to bring more awareness to this site. Those who will successfully rise to this challenge will have the chance to take home cash and other prizes.
The Adventure race winners in the men and women’s categories will receive:
- Champion: 10,000 Cash and 4,000 Columbia GC
- 1st Runner Up: 7,000 Cash and 4,000 Columbia GC
- 2nd Runner Up: 5,000 Cash and 4,000 Columbia GC
The 10K Trail Run Category winners in the men and women’s categories will receive:
- Champion: 3,000 Cash and 2,000 Columbia GC
- 1st Runner Up: 2,000 Cash and 2,000 Columbia GC
- 2nd Runner Up: 1,000 Cash and 1,000 Columbia GC
Columbia Sportswear has long been known for promoting an outgoing lifestyle, and the Trail Masters in Davao is another example of how the brand is committed to this advocacy.
Registration begins on September 25, 2012 and will end on November 11, 2012 at the following places; Columbia Abreeza Davao, Columbia Limketkai Cagayan De Oro and Columbia SM Cebu.
