There’s this new site launched by a friend, a pretty Dabawenya by the name of Lia Andrea Ramos. It’s called Glamourbox, and I signed up for it.
Lia is a beauty junkie who loves to experiment with cosmetics, skin care, body and bath products… the works. Partnering with fellow beauty enthusiasts in Glamourbox, her recent beauty venture is a tie up with local and international brands that will give Filipinas an exciting access to the latest global trends on beauty and skin care.
Glamourbox founding team combines years of expertise in retail, online services, marketing, public relations and finance. The team sifts through hundreds of products to bring us those they think are compelling and worth testing. They also provide an online platform for Filipinas to engage with other testers and share what they have to say about these latest trends. Apart from being fun and exciting, this ensures that the beauty-savvy Filipinas around the country get their hands on the best products available.
Just sign up and subscribe to receive beauty items from premium and niche brands monthly. As a member, you get to receive 5 deluxe samples in a curated box delivered to your doorstep every month. You can share your find with the community, as well as buy beauty products at special rates in their online boutique.
So now I am expecting my first box this month in eager anticipation.
Now why would I be listening to my friend, Lia?
Oh I forgot to tell you. She is an international model and the former Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2006, who is a true blue Dabawenya as well!

Lia is the daughter of my friends, Ferdinand and Sally Ramos. Below are some of our early fun shoot with her, back in 2007 with Rhonson Ng who took her personal portfolio (I just happened to tag along). Set in Buenavista Island Resort, she calls this her “awkward stage”… but nothing in this international model is ever awkward.
