Delegates from MICECON 2013 were given a leisurely excursion in the premises of Abreeza Mall as part of their Davao city tour last March 8.

Treated to a welcome program with snacks and drinks courtesy of Blugre in Abreeza, the guests from different regions and nations were serenaded with performing musicians and handed Davao-grown tokens from bracelets, notebooks from Tinalak and pomelos courtesy of Nenita Farms. These international delegates enjoyed the cozy ambience that the mall infuses.

The Philippine M.I.C.E. Conference (MICECON) integrates two major Philippine M.I.C.E. Programmes: the long-running (since 1991) Philippine Incentive Marketing Conference (Phil-Incentive) organized by the Department of Tourism / Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) and the Meetings, Incentive Travel, Events/ Exhibitions Philippines Inc. (MITE Philippines); and the Philippine Asian M.I.C.E. Forum introduced in 2008 by the Philippine Association of Convention / Exhibition Organizers and Suppliers (PACEOS).

MICECON aims to provide a platform to integrate and strengthen all sectors involved in the Philippine Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions/Events (MICE) industry into one cohesive, comprehensive educational programme. It tackles a wide range of topics on: issues and trends in travel and tourism; and industry specific workshops on Meetings and Conventions, Incentive Travel, Exhibitions, Events, Marketing, Business, and Leadership.
