Philippine Embassy in Bangkok Holds Roving Philippine Festivals Photo Exhibit

The Philippine Embassy held a roving exhibit in celebration of the Philippine Heritage month and the 116th Anniversary of Proclamation of Philippine Independence featuring photographs of Philippine Festivals by professional Filipino photographers.

The exhibit was first held at the Philippine Fair at Central World Mall, Bangkok from 12 to 15 June 2014. The fair also showcased Philippine Fashion and Philippine Food. The exhibit was then shown to guests of the diplomatic reception in celebration of the 116th Anniversary at Shangri-la Hotel on 16 June 2014. The next stop of the photo exhibit will be in Korat, Thailand in the coming months.

The photographs featured in the exhibit were by Allan Bolanos, Dodoy Ignacio, George Cabig, Glenn Opong, Joemeth Robles, Ken Reyes, Louie Delgado, Monch David, Raniel Castaneda, Reginald de Guia, RJ Javier, Vernan Jagunap, Jojie Alcantara and Zi El Revez. The Embassy was assisted by professional Filipino photographer Mr. Boboy Librodo in the gathering and selection of the photographs.
