Sun Life brings nationwide caravan to Davao
Piolo and Inigo Pascual performed in SunLife’s “#LiveFreePH Freedom Celebration”
Sun Life of Canada (Philippines), Inc. brought its nationwide caravan dubbed #LiveFreePh Freedom Tour” to Abreeza Mall in Davao City from January 24-30 as part of its efforts to rally Filipinos to define and pursue their financial freedom.

The event featured a string of activities to guide participants in their journey towards financial freedom — #LiveFreePH mall booths where they can declare their vision via the “Live Free Freedom Wall”. Through the “Brighter Life Index: Social Sentiment (BLISS),” they can assess their current situation and share their outlook for the future, and get to help a community in need while at it. They can also join the “Sun Celebright” promo for a chance to win a free trip to their chosen destination.
Sunlife advisors were on hand to assist those eager to start mapping their journey towards financial freedom, while those interested in becoming a Sun Life financial advisor were also accommodated.
The concert last January 30 culminated in a concert dubbed “Freedom Celebration” which featured musical performances by Sun Life brand ambassadors Piolo and Inigo Pascual. The two will lead the movement and give Filipinos a boost as they try to reach their financial goals.
The caravan, which also made stops in Pampanga and Iloilo, is a part of a campaign called “#LiveFreePH Movement.” This aims to inspire Filipinos into believing that a bright future is possible by rethinking their definition of financial freedom, and be encouraged to translate this optimism into reality with the help of a financial advisor.
“Sun Life aims to encourage Filipinos to pursue financial freedowm and we have over 7,000 advisors nationwide to help them in their journey towards this new kind of freedom,” said Sun Life Chief Marketing Officer Mylene Lopa.
