ADTEL and IONTECH bring ABS-CBN TVplus to Davao City

ADTEL, technology provider for telecommunications and broadcasting and IONTECH, distributor of information technology products, are giving Davao City a much deserved access to a superior entertainment experience offered by ABS-CBN TVplus.

This was announced in a press conference mounted by Adtel and Iontech at the Marco Polo Hotel and attended by ABS-CBN officials including ABS-CBN TVplus marketing head Sharon Tanganco and ABS-CBN Regional Mindanao cluster head Trisha Corpus on April 8, 2016.

Through the ‘mahiwagang black box,’ Davaoenos will now enjoy exclusive channels, programs, and features in dramatically clear picture and sound for a one-time payment fee of P1,999.

Apart from the free TV channels that broadcast using digital transmission like ABS-CBN, families in Davao City can now watch the four exclusive free-to-air channels of ABS-CBN TVplus that cater to all members of the family.

These include CineMo, the first all-day movie channel on free TV; Yey, the first all-day kids channel without subscription; DZMM TeleRadyo, the first all-day news channel; and Knowledge Channel, the first curriculum-based educational channel.

CineMo’s “Funny Ka Pare Ko,” the first local TV program airing on digital TV in the country, is also another exclusive content that families will get to enjoy together.

The sitcom is top billed by Karla Estrada, Bayani Agbayani, Jason Gainza, and the “It’s Showtime” komikeros Ryan Rems, No Direction, and the Crazy Duo who join forces to use their talent in stand-up comedy to conquer all the challenges in their lives.

ABS-CBN TVplus boxes priced at P1,999 are bundled with an ABS-CBN mobile SIM and are available in any accredited retail outlets, sales agents, and dealers. It has no monthly or installation fee.
