Seda Abreeza’s Mother’s Day Media Launch at Misto last May 3, 2018 opened with a heartfelt speech from Hotel Manager Ken Kapulong, giving a toast to the women who have supported the hotel through the years.

“We would like to recognize some wonderful set of women who has been close to our hearts through the years of Seda Abreeza in Davao. In celebration of Mother’s Day, we also celebrate the beautiful contribution of these wonderful Moms in the tourism and hospitality industry – Ms. Cherry Al-ag of DavWell, who has been a partner of Seda Abreeza for its services in Elysia, and Ms. Generose Tecson, who has always showed support for us in all ways being in City Tourism,” he announced.

He proceeded to acknowledge the hotel department head Moms who have boosted the team with their motherly touch and support– “Kathy of Sales & Marketing, Cherry of HR, and Chef Bang of Culinary.”

“Lastly, to all the media Moms we have here, thank you for the unending support for us. Your career and passion may have been such a success, but I think being a mother is still your crowning glory. Today, in this occasion, we celebrate your empowered journeys. Happy Mother’s Day!” HM Kapulong exclaimed.

Each Mom was handed a fresh long stemmed bouquet of flowers tied delicately with a bow.

The guests were then treated to a wonderful sneak preview in store for Moms on the 13th of May. This includes the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, Misto, showcasing a Mother’s Day Lunch Buffet as prepared by Executive Sous Chef Giovanna “Bang” Flores (proud Mom of two) with her skilled culinary team. Apart from Misto’s classic highlight Angus Roast Beef, a few other favorites are the Sisig Samosa, Tuna in Lemon Garlic Cream Sauce, Baked Orange Chicken, and other seafood delights.

Chef Bang’s team also arranged a buffet dessert station which will whet one’s appetite for assorted specialty cakes and pastries for this important occasion — Ube Opera Cake, Mango Charlotte Cake, Tulip Buttercream Cake, Mississippi Mud Brownies, Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle, Matcha Green Tea Panna Cotta, and Coffee Panna Cotta with Espresso Jelly.
