Comedy and Suspense Highlight Star Cinema on SKY Pay-Per-View this October

Entertainment for the entire family make their way to every SKY home this October as Star Cinema on SKY Pay Per View airs a comedy and suspense movie, and a boxing match.

Everyone in the family will enjoy Zanjoe Marudo and Empoy Marquez’s “Kusina Kings,” a story of the colorful friendship between Ronnie (Zanjoe) and Benjie (Empoy), whose restaurant business is on the verge of bankruptcy. In order to save their restaurant, they must beat Gian, played by Ryan Bang in his first kontrabida role, in a cook-off.

Children will get to bond over the biggest barkada movie of the year, “Walwal.” The film is a story of four teenagers, Dondi (Elmo), Marco (Kiko), Intoy (Jerome), and Bobby (Donny), who are in a middle of balancing their college life with the pains of broken dreams, rejection, failure, and heartbreak. Joining the movie are Kisses Delavin plus Devon Seron, Jane de Leon, and Sofia Senoron.

But if you’re up for some chilling suspense thriller, then Donnalyn Bartolome and Ella Cruz in “Cry No Fear” is for you. Here, half-sisters Kaycee (Donnalyn) and Wendy (Ella) who are not fond of each other try to fight off intruders out to kill them. They are left with no choice but to team up and plan their escape.

Aside from the three films, fathers will surely have fun watching “Pinoy Pride,” the explosive fight between Donnie “Ahas” Nietes and Komgrich Nantapech held last April, where they dueled for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) Flyweight Championship.
