Bioskin launches Green Earth Movement

The Green Earth Movement (GEM) is a small but growing crusade in an effort to heal our relationship with Mother Earth, and this was initiated by a Davao born corporation called Bioskin Group of Companies. It is a call to the company’s partners and stakeholders to help make our planet cleaner and healthier again starting with small steps.

Bioskin’s cleanup started in its own backyard where the company evaluated its corporate mission and vision, overhauling its manufacturing processes and ethics to reposition itself in the market as a true environmental advocate. This was strictly implemented by owners Gerry and Maria Victoria Evangelista who started the environmental campaign of Bioskin.

A brief introduction of GEM by Chief Executive Officer and GEM Board Member Victoria Evangelista.

Throwaway containers were replaced by reusable flasks, green packaging took over the plastic bags and research for more organic ingredients was intensified.  Bioskin then forged alliances with other pro-life, pro-green organizations to push for its campaign.

Bioskin introduced its new product line totally aligned with the Green Earth Movement.  Marketed under B2B (business-to-business is an exchange of products, services or information between supportive enterprises), these product lines come in larger volumes for distribution to business establishments partnering with GEM.

“In our campaign, we use PET bottles and biodegradable packaging in all our products and reduce the use of single-use plastics. We encourage our customers to be one with our vision,” said Patricia Ocampo, Bioskin’s assistant marketing supervisor.

GEM becomes a partner in promoting the advocacy of using plant-based, natural, cruelty-free, FDA-approved products and recyclable materials in Bioskin’s daily operations.

Inviting everyone to be a partner, Bioskin offers exclusive discounts and freebies (liquid soap dispensers, stickers and certificates identifying them as partners) and exposure to its social media network.  In order to become a certified member, however, you must commit to using eco-friendly products as well.
