NCCC celebrates with new shopping services

NCCC Anniversary Virtual Media Conference on December 1, 2020

On its anniversary and virtual media conference last December 1, NCCC celebrated another milestone as one of the biggest homegrown brands in Mindanao, from a small textile shop along Uyanguren Street in 1952, where NCCC Main Magsaysay was built in 1978, and operating until today.

NCCC has grown to include supermarkets, department stores, hardware stores, pharmacies, bakeries, food brands, malls and cinemas into its group of companies.

NCCC Group of Companies CEO Lafayette Alvarez Lim said, “We didn’t stop there. Even before the pandemic started, we were already exploring innovative ways to serve you. Recently, we launched our newest shopping platform, myNCCC.ph, the first online retail store in Mindanao where you can shop 24/7 in the comfort of your homes.”

Other shopping services are through Chat2SHOP, Text/Call and Deliver and Online Booking Service of NCCC Supermarket. These innovative projects were undertaken to ensure the safety of valued shoppers and find more ways of improving their shopping experiences.

The HB1 Teleclinic app was also launched where doctors and patients can conveniently do both medical consultation and medicine prescription.

“Amidst this pandemic, we will continue to create an avenue to drive the Bayanihan spirit among our patrons through several project collaborations with our business partners,” Lim said.

Lim added that this December will be busy: NCCC Supermarket will offer rewarding shopping activities, and are also set to endorse grocery packs from Universal Robina Corporation to many affected families in Tagum and Davao City. The BIDA hygiene kits will be distributed by NCCC Cares Foundation to chosen communities as they boost awareness on their BIDA Solusyon campaign with Procter & Gamble Philippines in partnership with DOH.

“With these efforts, we hope to convey the message of hope since this holiday season will be so different from what we have ever experienced before,” Lim finished his speech by thanking everyone attending the virtual press conference. This event was hosted by Lucky Mae Braza-Pajarillaga. Mayor Inday Sara Duterte and singer/actor Christian Bautista dropped in for surprise greetings as well.
