Bagane Fiola’s “Wailings in the Forest (Baboy Halas)” on PPP4

Bagane “Bagsy” Fiola, a talented Mindanaoan filmmaker who hails from Davao City, had conceptualized “Baboy Halas” back in 2016 during a documentary shoot in the Cotabato Province of Southern Philippines. A fable recounted by a former rebel commander whose storytelling skills were passed on through generations from his Moro ancestors, inspired Fiola to write “Wailings in the Forest”.

FDCP’s Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino Announces 23 Additional Titles from ABS-CBN and Regal Films, PPP4 Movies Now Total 168

Davao Oriental borders now open in all days, more bus trips allowed

This was announced by Provincial Task Force on COVID-19 but says the opening of the borders for vehicles going into the province will still follow the 9:00 am to 4:00 pm schedule. The opening of the borders up to weekends is specially intended to cater to individuals who are only able to travel during the weekend and also for businesses that need to travel from Davao City to Davao Oriental and vice versa to pick-up and deliver supplies. Aside from extending the opening of the borders, the Provincial Task Force on COVID-19 also announced that there will be additional bus trips from Davao City to Davao Oriental. From having only three trips per day, there will be four more trips which include routes from Davao City to Governor Generoso, Davao City to the municipality of Caraga, Davao City to the municipality of Boston, and Davao City to Mati City.
